Darum lohnt es sich

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or related field. • Experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales or therapeutic area management. • Familiarity with the German healthcare system and referral structures. • Proven ability to develop structures and understand HCP behaviour and patient flows. • Ability to work autonomously. • Strong team player with a collaborative spirit. • Experience in specialty care is essential. • Background in oncology, rare diseases, or ultra‑orphan markets is highly desirable. • Skilled in identifying patient pathways and building referral networks. • Excellent communication, presentation, and selling skills. • Comfortable working in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment. • Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.

Our client is a commercial‐stage biopharmaceutical company applying a precision medicine approach to developing and delivering life‑changing medicines for people with severe rare diseases and cancer.

The company has a diversified targeted oncology pipeline spanning solid tumors and hematological cancers, including clinical trials in rare tumour types and highly prevalent, genetically defined cancers.

Their strategic approach and operational excellence in clinical development have enabled it to rapidly advance its lead product candidates into late‑stage trials and enter into multiple collaborations with innovators in industry and academia to unlock the full potential for its portfolio and create more solutions for patients with cancer.

As a Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS), you will play a critical role in expanding the company’s presence through a complementary sales approach.

You will work independently and in close coordination with your regional partner to engage diagnosing and referring healthcare professionals (HCPs), build local networks, and increase disease awareness to generate patient leads.

Responsibilities • Implement a complementary sales strategy to enhance our client’s market presence. • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to manage relationships with diagnosing and referring physicians. • Prioritize and engage with key specialist groups including neurologists, neuropaediatricians, oncologists, haematologists/oncologists, neuro‑oncologists, and neurosurgeons. • Identify and strengthen local referral networks and patient pathways. • Drive disease awareness initiatives to support early diagnosis and patient identification. • Analyse and map patient flows to optimize outreach and engagement strategies. • Act as a cross‑functional liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, marital status, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status and will not be discriminated against.

If you are an individual with a disability who requires reasonable accommodation to complete any part of our application process, including the use of this website, please contact us at: [email protected]
